This is not my photo but I think it is a great shot and shows a lot if imagination.

A drummer in a band in action.

It is a handheld shot with 2 second exposure taken under the light that was available.

It makes me dizzy. haha. It's a cool effect. Needs to have the highlights toned down a bit.

It looks like they cranked it up a lot. I think a blurred shot of a drummer would look better with a more normal exposure.

I think with the hightlights toned down a tad, it might be a bit easier to look at.

I am not really a fan of it either. But you are right. There are many styles and not everyone sees a photo in the same way. And that is what makes photography a great hobby.
