This one is a true black and white image, not a conversion, the original shot on Kodak T-MAX 100 film. The negative was scanned with my Nikon Super CoolScan LS-8000

I like it Mike... nice job!

Thanks Pat! As I learn new techniques in LR and PS I look back over my old photos and see if I can apply them.

And this one happened to be on the "I want to do something with this but not quite sure what" list.
I'm in my what I would call search phase, looking for a unique style so a lot of experimentation and like anything else at first it's hit and miss!

This is also a true black and white image, shot on T-MAX 100, though I have admittedly manipulated it in Photoshop to make it appear as though it was shot in the middle of the night under a full moon. The truth be told, it was actually shot around 3 in the afternoon under a bright sun on the F4s and 105mm f/1.8 AIS Nikkor with a 25A (deep red) filter to increase contrast and the negative given N+1 development in D-76 1:1 to bring out the one headstone above the rest of the scene. The only manipulation that was done was to change the mode of the file to RGB and add a bluish/cyan tint to it. The bright sunny day provided all the shadows I needed to give the effect of a full moon behind the photographer's back. I need to do a little more manipulation and add an "apparition" to it.
