Sports photography is all about taking a picture at the perfect moment, time and time again. I feel it is as much knowing or calculating what your subject is going to do next, as it is luck. LOL

Wow, great shot! I've lived at a lake for the past 30 years and I have yet to actually witness how the 5 foot long whitewash stripes get produced on my dock. I was beginning to think that the herons were saving it up in balloons and bombing me.
