One from the Silverstone Moto GP. Nikon D700 with Sigma 50-500mm Lens. shot hand held from the stands/spectator area at full zoom.

The only thing that bothers me at all is the framing. The road ends and he looks like he is about to slide out of the picture. The action is great and it is a good capture of a moment of time.

Personally, all it misses is a splash of colour. I try to find a corner with red and white curbs or an advertising board to pimp up the background.
Sometimes that is difficult though.

Taken at Silverstone with D3100 and kit 18-70mm (and then cropped). Just bought a Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens and looking forward to getting closer in on the action.
