Three ponies, gotta love it! I think this photo is a great candidate for a "pano" type photo. The wide expanse of blurred, negative space is distracting and the cars almost get lost in it. Also, the background seems way too sharp to me, it too is a little distracting. A blurred background would isolate the cars much better without losing a sense of 'place'

This is what I was thinking too.

Very nice shot. I like the foreground arrangement of the cars but find the background both distracting and out of place. Perhaps if these were pickup trucks it would blend together better but Mustangs in a rock quarry just doesn't seem to work for me.

Speaking of beautiful cars, the Speed Channel did excellent video work covering the 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend. Great camera angles prevailed and audio too. At times, the announcers just sat quietly and let viewers see and hear from on-board cameras for minutes at a time. Beautiful stuff.

My wife drives a turbodiesel VW Jetta TDI Sportwagen (with an honest three-pedals-on-the-floor 6-Speed stick), so we cheered on the Audi team with their diesel R18 e-tron quattros which placed 1st, 3rd & 5th.

The fore and background points have been covered but you also need to think about the light you are shooting in, these look very harsh and a lot of detail is lost in the excessive contrast. The other thing I wondered about is did you think about other car positions, this looks a little like a car park. Sorry to sound so negative Stig, but although this is not a bad shot, I think there is room for improvement.
