This was one of my first true macro photos. I used a Nikon F2 and a 24mm f/2.8 AIS Nikkor mounted reversed on a reversing ring. Of cousre when you do that focus is fixed so I actually had to move the entire plant to get just the center of the African Violet in sharp focus. I used a small aperture, probably around f/11 or f/16 for enough depth of field. Film was VPS (Vericolor III Professional Film, tyoe S, ASA 160). Lighting was diffused window light.
