Well, I think I will have to buy a new one, saw one on a second hand site in NL for 8 euro excl. shipping. Probably soon after arriving the new one, I am going to find the other one
It's just so damn annoying that I loose these kind of things. I have occupied a dedicated part of a closet to store all my bags, lenses, batteries etc. but still losing things (that should have been ON the lens in the first place).

I have lost several lens caps. I about passed out when I saw how much a Nikon replacement cost. Needless to say I now have one that works just as good but has no name on the front.
