Ok, here is my 1st Entry! It is a dinner casserole (on the table just before we ate it!)
It is called Chili Mac & Cheese!

DSC_4632.jpg

It was delicious, though I question the recipe at 8 servings, we have left overs up the Ying Yang!
It will also provide dinner today and a few lunches for work!

Recipe is below for any who may be interested

I have enjoyed all the other entries and hope that mine is enjoyed by some of the contestants also.

Great Challenge!!! Thanks to the Moderators, now to go find 2 more!

Well! It's Sunday and I finally got some time to cook instead of fastfood and eat out. My schedule at work has been tiring to say the least. Here's my Mac and Cheese I made today. I would post a recipe but, I change it up every time. _DSC2115 (640x425).jpg

Ok, here is my 2nd entry!!! Just an ordinary baked chicken dinner with potatoes, gravy and mixed veggies... The question is, is the color, comp and compliance with the contest premise good enough against the great competition here at Nikonites???

DSC_4555.jpg

It would be great if it was, but more important is the Challenge, learning form the practice & the photo's of others and walking away feeling you did your best ... I learned from this challenge and producing all 3 of my entries (3 is taken and will be up later or tomorrow..) so guess what folks, I am a winner in my book because I learned!!! Thanks to Nikonites and the Staff who sets these challenges up!! I have learned from every one of them!

I agree with you Pat. I have not done food shooting since I was in school ( yes I remember that long ago ) so it indeed challenged me. And although I will never be a photographer for Cooking Magazine I have achieved my personal goal of learning something new. We are indeed all winners......In my humble opinion.

Thats how I attack these... Thanks Alan! You have me on two edges here...

1. I never shot food before

2. Cannot remember school!!

But trust me, I am living proof that you can teach an OLD dog new tricks! :)
