I had on a long sleeve shirt and got hot. What was so funny was there were people with their shirts off sunbathing. Was a perfect day to shoot except for all the people wandering around.

I am far enough off the coast to not get hit by hurricanes very often and normally they have calmed down enough by then to not do a lot of damage.
When is Hurricane season? I'm ok with snow
The Atlantic hurricane season officially begins on June 1st and ends on November 30. But things really don't get kicked off until mid July or so when the Atlantic, and especially the Gulf of Mexico, have really warmed up and by Oct 31 they are pretty much over. Of course there are always exceptions. We have been lucky the last 3 years, but we are still showing scars, especially at the beach, from Ivan back in 2004 when it beat us relentlessly over the head with a baseball bat.
