Hi all, I'd love some gleam some knowledge from the group... I'm considering buying a printer (iP8750 A3+ Canon). Having not owned a photo printer for a very long time and being relatively poor I'm finding the question of ink & paper quality baffling and off-putting. Prices range massively...

Hi all, I'm looking for help to improve my low light manual focus shots. I'm talking focus here. It is so hard to get good focus in low light, I almost always fail. I have so many beautiful shots ruined by being out of focus. I'm not talking about tripod staged shooting, but spontaneous in...

Went out last night to attempt to shoot the milky way. It was a lovely night, on the south cost England. Unfortunately I hadn't been out 20 minutes and it rapidly started to cloud over. Still pretty happy with these, considering the bottle of wine i'd had and the time constraints! I even...

A foggy morning...

Taken a photo recently of one subject only to notice you accidentally took a picture of something else/better by accident? Post them here. ********************************** Accidental sun spot images: Saw the sun for the 1st time in a month and went to take some photos in the evening sun...

Not sure if i like the flash housing visible in the pupil.. decided not to edit it out. Photo of my 6 month old son. Not that i'm an overly proud Dad or anything! :) D600, 60mm, f/4, 1/60, ISO 640.

After 3 weeks i got my camera back. Replaced shutter and aperture control units. Camera came back full of dirt. Pretty pissed off. 1st test shot after receiving camera back. (Adjusted in LR)

Yeah that is how you post an image from your PC. But you can use a url and chose to have the image stored locally. This will fulfill the criteria of the assignment. But it was changing the size of the posted image that I was having trouble with not how you post it. Cheers. I personally don't...

That worked Marcel.. the trick is double clicking on the preview. I would never have found that. thanks.

#3 Less thought provoking. On the cycle home from the pub I went past a wheat field.

#2 Not what it looks like. Drinking my pint above I got embroiled in a conversation with a drunk. He had lots of issues but there was nothing I could do for him. He asked me to take his picture. 2 minutes later he was cry telling me how crap his life was.

Been away from both Nikonites & my Nikon, not been happy about it! Hope to make up for it. #1 Nothing is better than a cold beer on a hot summer afternoon!
