I started shooting in the early 1980's with my fathers Minolta. In 1984, as a Christmas present, I received a Minolta X570. After that I took photography in high school and found a passion. After graduation, for various reasons, photography was put on the back burner. I've had a couple of point and shoot camera's (Canon and a Nikon Coolpix 5700) but wanted to get back into DSLR. In 2014 I got a Nikon D7100 that served me well until our kittens pushed it off a five foot dresser in November 2017. I've had a blessing that allowed me to purchase a new DSLR, a Nikon D500 and a new lens. I'm hoping to move into professional work in the near future.
