Cheers Needa This is exactly what I had to do. Problem was the connection activated by the locking mechanism contacts on the battery grip. Removed the top cover and could only see the tiniest speck of shade on the lower contact strip. Quick touch with Fibreglass pen and the fault has gone. Now...

Just thought I'd best pop in and say hello. Also looking for guidance as to where to find sd flashing light issue threads,as I seem to have found the problem on my D7100 with the MB-D15 fitted and don't want to over egg the pudding with a fresh topic. Thanks in advance. Paul
