They throw dried sawdust in the firebox turn the lights out and pull a load, this puts on a neat fire show (I kind of captured it) it was dark

They do some neat stuff after dark - here is peerless with lanterns at the cover edges

Here are a few shots from the steam engine show I attended recently - really cool to see these old engines fired up and moving around

Thank you for the kind words, I was one year old when this engine came to the "park" - many memories of it over my lifetime

It must be the summer of trains for me, I went to the local Williams Grove Steam engine show yesterday - they had the steam engine out and running rides I've included the story plaque - light was not the best
