hey, basically I'm going snowboarding in january does anyone have any advice for keeping my camera safe and in good working order whilst I'm on the pistes? I own a d3100. thanks;)

I have recently purchased the D3100, I am going snowboarding in January and I was just wondering if anyone had any good advice on protecting my camera from the cold, for example best camera bags etc. I want to take some nice pictures in a beautiful country without damaging my camera. cheers! :) JD
