I was near the exit when I saw this Great Egret. It was doing anything. As I approached it, it started preening. When I turned the camera, my camera stopped working!! My battery died! It was at 68% when I arrived at Wako. Don't know what happened. I'm blaming it on the extreme heat!!

Every time I go grocery shopping at Publix, I hear the Monk Parakeets. I don't usually carry my camera. The last few weeks I have been and haven't seen or heard them. Yesterday I did but they didn't stick around long.
