    D7000 is so complex

I just upgraded from the D5100 to the D7000 and I'm surprised that my photos look so soft. I've been using my 18-105 and my AF-S 50mm 1.4. I did just get it yesterday but I am concerned with focusing issues people have talked about on here. My camera store has had an awful time keeping the d7000...

I would like to get a generic grip for my new D7000 but I'm not sure which generic brand to go with??? Anyone have any suggestions?

    My camera is making noises!!

Ok so don't everyone laugh at once... My camera is making odd noises when I press the shutter half way. Now because the motors are inside the lens, does the shutter being depressed make an electronic noise to start the lens focusing? I don't use the beep and tonight while my toddler sleeps I was...

Also I could be too close...

He argues that if I need a wider angle to step back and all I want is another lens. Is there any validity in that? IMHO I feels the 35...

A Little rant on Nikon Marketing...

So I have had my D5100 for a month now and I really love it. I had a hard time deciding between the D5100 and the D7000 and I realized that I needed to spend the extra money I had on glass and not a bigger body. Well I have an iPad and I love that Nikon has a magazine now, (www.nphotomag.com)...

    New to Nikon

So I've used other brands before but I'm coming to Nikon with the hopes of being able to use a bunch of lenses. I have ordered my D5100 and I'm excited but now I am finding out it will only AF with a few of the AF lenses. It's sort of a bummer because some of the lenses I wanted are just AF and...
