I'm having a terrible time viewing the LCD screen when it's sunny. Has anyone purchased a sun hood for the LCD screen for the D3200? There is a sun hood by Hoodman that is $80 on Adorama. Any comments?
Edit: After posting this I found all kinds of DIY projects for a sun hood on YouTube. I think...
It would be amazing to live in a country where parrots are indigenous. You're making me want to go book a flight to Australia. Here's one of my house parrots - a Hahns Macaw, native to South America. He has big man syndrome. This is one of the first rounds of photos I took with my D3200.

Hey Feilong29, Have you been back to shoot sunflowers? Do you have any buckshot in your backside? I'm not as brave as you but awhile back I picked a few sunflowers (quickly!) then photographed them inside against black

50mm f/1.8G fx $220
50mm f/1.4G fx $470
It doesn't seem like there would be much difference between the 35mm & 50mm...
I've had my D3200 for a year now and am finally comfortable with the basic functions. I picked up the camera a couple weeks ago after several months of no photography. I honestly can't recall if I was having this issue previously.
I have no problem when taking photos through the viewfinder...
I have had my D3200 since May. The auto focus component of the camera is flat-out not working. It worked fine for the first month or two, then the auto focus began working intermittently. Now it's not working at all. The really sad thing is I went to Alaska on vacation and took about a 100 shots...
