I am 38 years of age and live near Glasgow, Scotland. I have enjoyed taking photo's for years since a compact 35mm film camera and then a 35mm Pentax ME Super 18 years ago. It is fantastic and I will always keep it. The high cost of developing and with maybe a third of images printed being a success made this a very expensive interest for me. I changed to a digital point and shoot a few years ago which I use and its so small its perfect to carry in the pocket. It has taken some really nice images however recently I have decided to have another go at SLR photography and this time I'm in a better position to enjoy the larger camera and want to learn much more about photography. I recently treated myself to a dream, a Nikon SLR and bought a used but mint condition D200. Perhaps a bit beyond me just now however at a very good price, too good to pass up on.
