Who longs for Nikon to release a 50 1.8G lens, so that I have one that will autofocus on my D40? As it is, I could spend $500 for a 50 1.4G that will autofocus on my camera, or spend $800+ to buy a new camera so I can use a $125 lens. Cmon, Nikon, how hard can it be?

I use a Stroboframe QuickFlip 350 Flash bracket, with a Nikon sc29 i TTL cord. . I like the Stroboframe because it allows you to keep the flash centerline above the lens in either horizontal or vertical composition. While the SC 28 is a good cord, the SC29 has the AF assist.
