considering this combo with Z5ii. The converter would be to go beyond 400. Was advised that using the converter it would "cut light by one stop" by using the teleconverter. If anyone is using this combo, please weigh in on the impact of photos such as birds and other subjects. Thx

I have Z5ii. Looking at purchasing this lens with using the FTZ II. Was told by store rep that because the lens is older and not a Z lens that autofocus / focus could be impacted. Specifically mentioned it being slower.

Considering this lens with the adapter. Was told by store rep that since the lens is older and not a Z lens that I may experience issues with the autofocus or focus on the camera. Might be slow? If you have used this combo, please weigh in and advise whether you have/ had problems with this...
