    help with focus

I think I know exactly what you mean... In photography more often than not, less is better... I was on the line myself between the D850 and the Z8 (they are virtually the same body), but as I already had three lenses with the Z mount, after looking at the prices I ended up with the Z7II... It...

    Post your Train shots!

Hi there, Nice to see another train's passionate... If you take a closer look, you can see that there is a lot of rust on things like the couplers, the fuel tank and the bogies... I would say it has been parked there for further dismantling and for spares... If you search online, you may be able...

    Nikon Lens Repair Shop?

This to me, sounds like the most cost effective option.. The only one thing I would like to add is that, while I'm not sure how many other members here are from countries outside the US, it would help immensely if, when quoting a site you could add the link as well and not just the name... I...

    Post your Feathers

I honestly thought that, with the amount of pictures taken of birds on this site, feathers would have been the second most popular subject... :)

    The teleconverter experiment...

About two weeks ago I purchased the Viltrox 2.0X teleconverter Z Mount to see if it was possible to use with the Z100-400 lens... This is where it all started HERE. As mentioned before I'm a bit of a sucker for Gadget, (especially when they are cheap), so I went ahead and got one to do a bit...

    Something's wrong with my Z7ii

Again you are 100% correct... My numbers start with 7 and that it is Asia where Australia does start with 6... The US is 3... So we really don't know how many they sold... I also got lenses with n. 4 Europe and n.2 Japan... In all honesty, I think Australia has a wider multicultural approach to...

    Something's wrong with my Z7ii

It shows... :ROFLMAO: Or your Adobe Lightroom is faulty... ;) On a different note. I was looking at the serial number of your Z7II and it start with a 30.. Mine start with a 78 and they are a 7 digits numbers... That does give you an idea of how many Z7II, Nikon has sold worldwide... (if...

Dumb Jokes Posted Here.... if you dare.

Postman One Monday morning the postman is walking through the neighborhood on his usual route, delivering the mail. As he approaches one of the homes he noticed that both cars were still in the driveway. His wonder was cut short by David, the homeowner, coming out with a load of empty beer...

    Telescope to attach Z7 to

This is what I got without any editing, other than cropping and with no tripod... So I think there is room for improvements... But I would like to get even closer than 600, but not with the price of the 800 lens

    Telescope to attach Z7 to

I have to admit that what you are saying, it does make a lot of sense, especially financially.. I did try at first with the phone mount attached to the spotter, but that failed miserably as well.. Even the moon moves too fast when you have 20 things to adjust before you take the shot... Ok...

    Z7 Problems

The only difference between an open and short (or closed) circuit is that, like in Tommy case, when the short occurs the camera automatically turn the power off temporarily to the monitor to prevent the frying of the board.. An intermittent open circuit would not require the camera to be turned...

    Z7 Problems

The middle part where the cable slide in the frame is where most of the sliding, rubbing occur, so I would say that's where the problem is... All ribbon cable mounts have a lock that should prevent the cable from coming out of the mount...
