D600 less than two weeks old - dust problems

And one more. 250 more actuation's (100 of which were high speed continuous in a row). Accumulated quite a bit of dust after that. But between the sensor clean and blowing at it with a air bulb again most of them went away. Just a couple new ones (and some really faint ones when pixel...

D600 less than two weeks old - dust problems

Daylight! And for reference here is my D7000 that just came back from Nikon servicing. It's not perfectly clean either against a blue sky @ F16. Yeah i'm happy with this especially considering the price I got.

    D7000 Grainy photos

Well after further testing I have deduced that the D7000 just has a read/static noise that I just do not like. And the D600 makes incredible photo's and I am keeping it. 100% mag crop

D600 less than two weeks old - dust problems

Did little over 200 actuation's tonight. 150 of which were high speed continuous (not all at once mind you). Was some dust at the end of my testing. Then blew it out with my air bulb a few times. A couple stubborn spots. See for your self. What do you guys think? I ran out of day light for...

D600 less than two weeks old - dust problems

Bought a D600 to try out. Did a photo shoot with it. Lots of the pics of noticeable dust spots. They weren't in the same place most of the time. I can return it tomorrow for a full refund and I found a online sale for $100 less shipped then what I paid locally. Should I do it?

    Bike Project

Call me inspired. Went to a local camera store and found a nice backpack on sale (<$100 after taxes) and took a ride to my parents house and just so happens my dad had a Manfrotto compact MKC3-H01 tripod NIB just sitting in the garage. :)

    D7000 Grainy photos

Here is a better image to show the noise I am talking about. (image from Nikon D7000 Review by Thom Hogan) This is the noise that I see on all my images with the D7000 regardless of ISO. I haven't done a lot of pixel peeping on shots with my new D600 yet but The shoot I did over the...

    D7000 Grainy photos

I am having an issue with the pictures I take with my D7000. Everything I take when viewed at 100% looks grainy. Now I don't know if it is actual grain I am seeing or if it just bayer interpolation. I shoot low ISO's (100-800) and have been using Nikon prime lenses. Everything I read says the...
