Have any nature/bird photographers tried shooting in the very cold weather with a pair of heated gloves. There are many types but most are just sale pitches with third party links for buying.

I am current using a Nikon AF-S 80-400MM F/4.5-5.6G ED VR and was wondering if you can buy a 77mm filter to use that is safe for the upcoming solar eclipse. Thanks for any info.
