You may have known this but, until today, I did not. This Hound Dog Taylor album is the reason that Alligator Records, which today is a major Blues label, came to exist.

@Roy1961 I saw Warren Zevon in concert back in the late '70s. His plane was late and he must have spent the whole time drinking because he was so drunk he could hardly stand up. The show started 2-3 hours late, and he set it up so that everyone could show their ticket stub at the local ticket office to get a free copy of his album as compensation for the show starting so late. Even drunk as a skunk, he put on a great show.
