This guy ran and dove with his whole body for the fish instead of the usual sneak up and plunge just the head in. Then he flew away when some Pelicans headed his way to try to steal the fish.

This owlet wasn't quite ready to fly, but sharp, strong talons made him a good, if somewhat comical to watch, climber. This is from around three weeks ago.

Great shots Woody!

My like button doesn't always work. I click on it, I'll see it, then it disappears.
