Hey Peter, Nice shot! How come the Exif are all missing? Were you taking these BIF's with your new d500?

Hi blackstar (sorry don’t know your name ), I have had the same problem with every photo I have uploaded to this forum. It seems to be something to do with which software you use to resize the original image.
It was however with the D500 and the 300mm, 1/2000, iso 1250 and f7.1.
Although I am not that great at BIF photos and don’t have the colourful range of birds that there is in the US, already I can highly recommend the D500,

What size are your using when you upload your images, Peter? I downloaded your image. The EXIF is definitely there. Try to aim for 1024 pixels on the long or tall side before you upload to Nikonites and see if that helps. If Nikonites is resizing your images to make them fit, perhaps that might be the cause. I don't know for sure though.

Let's see if your EXIF shows up for me.

Cindy @hark, I have changed to the sizes to 1024 on the longest side and uploaded again as below. I think I had it set at 1024 on the short side and 12** on the long. Hopefully this might now work?

Cindy @hark, Another one I have just uploaded with the new sizes, however I am still not seeing the EXIF.

How are you accessing the forum when you upload your photos - are you using a browser or a phone? The EXIF is still being retained in your images so it seems as though it might have more to do with the upload process.

I lost the EXIF display about a year ago or more when uploading from the gallery. Something changed, one day it was there, gone the next.

Edit: just went back to my thread from 2017, the EXIF displays.

I remember when you ran into that problem. There never seemed to be any way to fix it even when John looked into it.

I edited my previous post while you were posting.

I just went back to my 2017 thread and the EXIF displays.

Also uploading from the google chrome browser, never by phone.
Marilynne has already informed me she was having the same issues.
Next time I might try a different browser to see if it makes any difference.
