Haven't been to Loxahatchee in a week. Went to the gator nest. Counted 5-6 empty shells. Didn't see momma or the babies. Just an FYI, don't cough when momma is expecting more eggs to hatch. I heard a splash, then she came flying out and stopped on the nest. Stopped my heart big time!! I was alone.

Thanks Jeff! I don't want to hear about me on the news either. The little fence wouldn't have helped if she decided to continue her forward movement.
You heard about the guy with the 12' that supposedly jumped in to the boat a bit him on the arm?
I can't blame them.

I always like seeing gator babies!
Well, here's another gator baby photo, but not like you would imagine.
This photo from sixteen years ago is of my son at his first college football game at the University of Florida. After about two minutes, or so, into the first quarter of the game, he informed me that he was ready to go home!
He is now a Junior studying Bassoon Performance and Computer Science there. How time flies!
