I just bought a probably-unused, looks-like-new-in-the-box, MB-D200 battery grip for $27. I have three batteries for my D200, all of which are getting a little weak. Now I can run two at once to extend my battery life. ;)

That's another advantage of having an "obsolete" model around for rough use or dangerous duty... parts and accessories are cheap!

Well I had my ASUS Laptop start acting up so before it let go I went ahead and replaced it. I purchased a Dell Insperon 15 7000 it has an Intel 7I 8th generation processor, a 512 Solid State Drive, 16GB of Ram and a NVIDIA Card with 6 GB of dedicated memory. I also picked up a Seagate external 2TB SSD, and it does have a touch screen but I have not used that too much yet. It is better that ASUS. Faster... and I can have PS and LR open at the same time. I may upgrade to 32 GB of RAM... but I have to wait on a friends schedule to do that. Puts a dent in the Lens budget.

That looks nice! :) I have a Benro TMA28A Series 2 Mach3 aluminum tripod (didn't come with a head) that is very well made. Was quite impressed although I generally grab my Gitzo aluminum tripod if I need one. The owner of Allen's Camera sold me the Gitzo as new old stock for an excellent price. It was the last thing I purchased from him before he suddenly passed away unexpectedly. So the Gitzo has special meaning.

Enjoy yours!

Brand new rear lcd screen protector arrived today from Amazon.

Put it on the D200 that came a few days ago from KEH on special sale.

Used to have one but traded it off 14 years ago when I really did not have time to properly learn it.

Under 18K shutter clicks, otherwise looks and feels new. Total $77 delivered price, with Nikon battery and charger.

The D200 with my cheap old FF lenses (70-210D push/pull zoom and 24mm Sigma 2.8), makes for a pretty good car camera kit.

I'm on the wrong side of the pond to know what kind of camera bag that is. Maybe the new Peak Design??

Enjoy the new ride Mike. :encouragement:
