I know I've seen one of these before, but can't recall the species. Merlin no longer works for me, so please help me ID this. Thanks!

Thanks wev. It may be a juvenile with the yellow belly.

Guess on my part, being a west coast guy, based on the body and your location. Cornell notes: "Birds in fresh fall plumage show faint yellow on the belly and whitish edging on the folded wing feathers."

I knew I knew it, but was having a senior moment. Sibley shows juvenile with a yellow belly.

Here's another one (who knows, maybe the same one), the next day.

any idea what this is, never seen one like this, going with an orange headed sparrow, until corrected. lol
