This has been a bad year for farmers in our area.The field corn is stunted and a lot has been infected with corn smut. This farmer is taking samples from his fields. I'm guessing to determine what he is going to do. Most of the fields I've seen show a small portion cut down as well in this manner.

That is a cool shot. Is that a Ring Size tool Steve? Just curious. I do not buy a lot of jewelry but as I looked at this that was all I could figure it was.
Yup! That is what it is. I got that and the ring measurement cone to size the ring I'm getting for the wife for our 30th anniversary.
