all caught up, of out to "work" today, won 2 free tickets for the upper platform at the ship launch at work this afternoon, hope to get a few shots and maybe try and get over to the Coronado Hotel if i have time.

where San Diego river meets the Pacific, the bird was on the other side.

after a run around Mission bay we headed down to the shipyard to see the ship getting launched, first one for Ryan, ?? for me.

the crew is busy under the ship right up to the last minute. Kids that will sing the National Anthem.

it took the lady two swings to smash the bottle. Once the bottle smashes they crack open the trigger underneath and the ship slips down the slipway.

The last launch i was at, it took 10 mins to start moving, the master of ceremonies cracked a joke that it worked ok in the practice run earlier that day. lol
