Question for you...when you shoot macro, do you use a flash? If so, what kind? Thanks! ;)

Thanks for the info, wev. Some members have mentioned a few ring flashes--some of which aren't too expensive while others are much more so. I will have to give this a try sometime as I have the SB-700. Just need to figure out how to use it in manual first! ;)

So you find having the flap down works better than sticking the plastic diffuser over the flash head?

Oh...one more quick question. Is the flash mounted on the camera or used off camera?
