March 13 of my Photography Project 366 - Denied! The wife saw me looking to the mountains to shoot some storm clouds when she told me NO, we have too much work to get done. She then shook her butt at me and I snapped the picture. I told her that since she denied me my clouds photo she was now the picture of the day.

March 14 of my Photography Project 366 - iXpand Flash Drive

This little 16GB drive allows me to go between Apple products and PC product. I wanted it for showing photos to clients. On the PC side it works great. On the Apple side it works, but Apple isn't as user friendly due to Apple having to be inherently difficult - but it works.

Not sure if we should admire your courage or pity your lack of sense :D revenge will be hers.

Do tell, I often switch between the two with a USB drive and it's really a difference between the views but nothing that is anything I would stress about. Curious about the qualms you refer too.

Only ask because I am thinking about using USB drives for delivering photos on, instead of online or disk.

As many on here no I have no love for Apple products. I do not find them logical and using their systems are just not intuitive. Knowing this about myself and that I frustrate easily with Apple stuff I turned to my wife who is versed on Apple. I am trying to move photos on and off of PC's and an iPad. With the PC it works like any other flash drive putting things on and off. On my iPad I have to use an app. Neither one of us can figure out how to move a photo from the iPad to the drive if I need to move an image. I'm sure it can be done, but we have yet to find it after a week. I just don't know why Apple has to be so damn hard.

The drive itself and the versatility is great. Don't let the Apple difficulties reflect on the product.

Your PC should recognize the iPad when it is plugged in via usb. Is it not?

Apple does make things difficult that should be easy. I use iPad for surfing the web and watching Netflix. I doubt I would use it for anything else.

I have not found a adapter cable locally, but I'm not well versed on Apple.

You may need to install iTunes on your PC to get stuff off your iPod. I don't believe there is a direct way to do it like you're trying to do.
This is one of the things that frustrates me about Apple as well. They make nice stuff but if you're not into the whole eco system it is difficult.

You can also install iCloud on your PC. You can upload pics from the iPod onto iCloud which will show up on your PC.

Gotcha, I understand now. I follow Teathertools on Instagram and people are always using IPads, maybe they have a solution.

I use an iPad for showing my work on the go because they have great displays on their products.

If I could create a bastard child, it would have Apples operating structure with the user friendliness of a PC.

Your iPad came with a USB cord, you should be able to use that and plug into a USB port on your PC.

@Blacktop has a good suggestion. iCloud would probably be your easiest solution.
However, I don't know anything about the transfer app.

I hear ya, it's not as simple as plugging in a USB drive. But if the pictures are ready for show you can look for the camera kit which has a card reader with it and a USB connection. I just put mine on the cloud and use my phone for the hotspot for Internet connection. 1 less device to worry about. Still want a cellular iPad.
