The ad talks about seeing the heritage through the lens, however the vintage camera they used in the ad doesn't allow you to see through the lens, instead your looking through the viewfinder on the side.I don't get it.
That's what I thought.I take it as the ad talking about the glasses, not the camera.
I don't get it.
@WayneF
It is a real poster. I found a discussion about it on "Mirrorless Rumors"
Looks like the lettering on the lens has been removed.
That is completely unbelievable, so I'm going to need better evidence.![]()
If you can't see the problem with this advertisement poster, maybe you work in the Nikon marketing department.
No, not really. It's an ad for glasses.The ad talks about seeing the heritage through the lens, however the vintage camera they used in the ad doesn't allow you to see through the lens, instead your looking through the viewfinder on the side.
This ad would have made more sense if they'd used a classic SLR instead, a camera that actually allows you to look through the lens.

Nikon has a line of eyewear. While this poster would be confusing in a camera shop if you didn't know about the eyewear line, it would be perfectly at home on display in a optometrist's office. For those with Facebook, you can see their 'I See' campaign here https://www.facebook.com/nikonlenswear
