I thought shooting this it was a Merlin, but it looks like a Peregrine Falcon.

Back out to SJ today, the species count is way down, maybe the birds are fooled that its summer time with the hot weather we have been getting??

The OC bird count has been all over the place, with earlies, lates, and huhs? The weather here and the northern storms is the best guess, but who know, but the birds and they ain't talking.

dragonflies are back in numbers, tried to get the mating pair in flight, but sucked at it.
