Hope you don't mind this Marilynne but your shutter speed could have been dropped alot on these for the osprey 1/2000 open to F8 and ISO will go down

static Birds I hardy go over 1/640 in flight 1/2000 to max 1/2500

Thanks Kevin. I don't like shooting on cloudy days. You'll have to give me some lessons at Circle B.

After lunch we headed northwest to Faith Farm to look for some recycled frames for a couple of my photos. Chris (is not a weatherman and doesn't play one on TV) said those clouds in the sky were not water bearing.

Wrong - ten miles from home it started to drizzle. We made it to Faith Farm and I did find a couple of frames. We could see the nasty rain to the north and to the east. Blue skies to the south so we headed out and made it about a half mile before the skies opened up. Luckily, there was a gas station on the corner. Waited about a half hour and headed for those blue skies to the south.

This time was made it two miles before it started to pour again. We made it to Bedner's veggie stand.

It let up about a half hour later and we headed south for those blue skies. Well, we didn't make it and there were no more sheltered areas for about five miles. We were soaked by the time we made it home!!

Not a fun ride at all!!
