I took the D750 to the same place, same lens, same kind of shots and about as unfavorable light conditions as possible. Harsh light and too much contrast to be good. I started with 800 ISO and pushed it up to 6400 just to see what it can and can't do. There's inevitable noise during this kind of shooting but I wanted to know how much and what could be fixed or was tolerable.
I actually laughed out loud during my first shots. With a second card to grab overflow, shooting at continuous is insane. The AF with the same lens compared to the D3300 is like the difference between a Fiat Uno and a BMW. It's fast and even while not always spot on with the first shot, the second or third captures the flyer. This cam sure makes the difference when it comes to action.
