you, grandpa and rocky will have to have a shoot out with your new toys. I like the osprey shot.

Thanks Ron. Grandpaw has more experience with it right now. Pat and I are at equal level. My biggest problem is the weight. I wobble all over the place. You'll notice I chop off the top of heads. The VR is great!!

Any idea when yours will be in?

My first Bald Eagle in the wild (with a camera). It was way off. I had no idea what I was shooting until processing time.

Me (photo by Chris) - I haven't figured out the best way to hold the lens yet. Sometimes I use the tripod holder, sometimes the lens barrel.

Thanks Pat. One thing I know for sure - that lens is HEAVY. After using it for two days, I do like it, but I won't be using it every day.

Unless I am putting it on a tripod my tripod mount is on top and I cradle the lens. I find this to be the best for me.
