Looking for lunch. This is not a storm drain it actually runs out of a large pond on the other side of the road and feeds into a lake. I assume some fish get caught in the rushing water and then caught by our buddy. I am sure this is the same bird I got catching the Vole last week. It is the same place. BTW the lake was used at one time to supply water to the Union Canal.
If you have watched the National news I live in the 8" to 10" snow storm area. It has started and has covered our perennials on the deck. Also a little ice forming on the window. Wind chills to -20 tonight. I Love Winter!!!!

It was in the 20s when I got up this morning and only up to 44° now and that is to cold for me. i don't know how you Yankees survive in all that cold and snow.

The best part Don, is that at these temps the snow crunches as you walk on it. Gotta love that sound.
I prefer the sound that sand makes as you walk on it barefooted in the 85° summer day.
You mean "ow" "yow", etc...
I figured he was thinking about that squishy slimy yucky sound along the surf not the screaming
burn your feet off sound.
