A camera for Christmas. A picture of my Grandson taking a picture of me taking a picture of him. OK so he didn't get a Nikon this year, not to worry he will have one someday. It's in his DNA.

Thanks Bill. He learned to use his Mom's cell phone cameras about three months ago so figured this was due. He had a lot of fun taking pictures and showing them to people. He didn't even cut off one head. :cool:

Stopped for a few minutes at the lake today. Windy and rather cold so very few birds on the lake. Did spot this guy, I had thought they were all gone as I had not seen one for at least a month.

Poor shot, gray overcast day and early morning but this is one of the nesting pair of bald Eagles at the State Wildlife Preserve. And he flew in from behind before I really had a chance to see him.

For you folks suffering in the heat in the warmer climates here's a look at a little snow flurry this afternoon. This fellow looks like he should have joined the snowbirds last month.

I can't believe he's still up there!!

Just found this on the Audubon site.
[h=2]Range[/h] Breeds locally from coastal Alaska, south-central Canada, and Nova Scotia south to Mexico and West Indies. Winters as far north as southern Alaska, central United States, and southern New England. Also in Galapagos Islands.

I actually saw two of them today. Both with their heads tucked in like this guy.
