I really do appreciate those of you that take the time to view my photos and it is an added bonus when you think one of them is worth commenting on. Thanks again.

Marilynne, I go out almost every day but do not have many subjects to chose from on the wildlife front. I would be a lot happier if I were able to see a bigger variety of subjects. I feel that I can pretty much get some photos if the opportunity presents itself but that is just not happening so I will attempt to engage my imagination a little and see what I can come up with. Thanks for your comments.

I would like to add that the blue Jay shot was done with my D600 using my Nikon 70-200VR with the 20E III 2X teleconverter. I was a little distance away and in dark shade and needed a heavy crop. It was shot it at ISO3200 due to the dark area it was located in.

Extra nice considering the conditions... and that ISO.... That's like my EDM shots, not heavily cropped but Hi ISO and the details were good...

Lunch on the fly. Note that this is a Great Egret and the previous photo with a fish was a Snowy Egret. This one is a bigger bird with a smaller fish.

The size of the little crab's body is about the size of a nickle and was about ten feet away from me when I photographed it. That round thing just to the right of the crab is the head of a nail the is in that is holding down the plank he is sitting on.

Every year our town closes down the main streets and has the Peter Anderson Arts and Crafts Festival on the first Saturday of November. There are several hundred booths for the two day event and last year we had over 120,000 people come to it. This is a picture I took today while I was walking around.
