My last post had a Great Egret in it and this one is a Snowy Egret. The Snowy Egret is a little smaller and has the black bill and the orange feet.

This shot is just perfect. The light is absolutely gorgeous for this shot. And it's sharp. Great catch Jeff!

Which camera/lens combo on the Egret shots Jeff?

Rick, the last two pictures in posts #1486 and #1484 were shot with my D600 and my Nikon 70-200VR F2.8

The post #1473 with the dark background was taken with the D600 with my Nikon 70-200VR with the addition of my Nikon 20E III 2X teleconverter.

This shot is a little different. This is a single shot of three different birds each going after the same piece of bread that my granddaughter had thrown in the water.

Can you guess what this is? It looks kinda like a water color painting. Taken with D600 with my Nikon 70-200VR using my 20E III 2X teleconverter.

You could probably sell prints of this one Jeff. I suspect the original might be mis-focused? But the background is so nicely out of focus that it was worth giving the whole shot the out of focus look and save the day. And save the day you did with this wonderful post processing.
