Nice Don!! I have yet to try that... someday!

It is one of those things only a photographer would notice and wonder about.

I am actually teaching the instructor how to do it and later he will teach the class. This is a Graphics class so it will be a good tool for their skill set.

I have heard of people carrying an extra body around but....
HaHa! I'd call that overkill. I'd be concerned about what he's doing to those cameras and lenses as they bounce and rub against each other. I'm a little neurotic about that. I don't like bumps, dings or scratches on my equipment. I'm the same way about that with my laptops, phone, etc.

He is the instructor in the Photo / Photoshop class I am taking. Those are all school cameras and all Nikon. He had collected them and was carring them to the car to put them away. They are all in pretty good shape considering they are used by students all the time. They are a collection of a couple D60, D3100s and a couple of D5000s. The computer lab is a little better. All MACs but don't ask which ones because I am not a MAC person. They are just 28inch =/- monitors and keyboards.

Re: Don's Daily Dabblings

Since I have been playing with Focus Stacking this week I decided to break out digiCamControl and learn how to use it. It took a little research and some trial and error but i finally figured it out. Here is a totally automated shoot. 9 frames focused and shot by my computer after set up by me.
