Mount Ranier from Governor's Ridge. Taken in 1985, I think, with an FE-2, 55mm f/2.8 AIS Micro Nikkor and Plus-X film rated at ASA 64 and scanned with the Coolscan LS-800

Cleveland from the roof of the tomb of James Garfield. Lake Erie is to the right where the power plant smoke stacks can be seen.

The first one was 70" wide, so it's tough to see when you size it down for email. Hopefully, you can see this one. The electric plant is on the right side and the Cleveland Clinic is on the left. Case Western Reserve University is right down the middle, along with University Circle.

I shot this nearly 30 years ago using an F2S and Plus X film rated at ASA 64. It was up in the mountains of WA near the town of Leavenworth. I scanned the image and added to the contrast to approximate what the print looks like on Oriental Seagull Grade 3 paper. Seagull fiber based paper grades tend to be about a half grade higher than what they are rated. They now make a variable contrast Seagull, but I am not much of a fan of variable grade papers because they just don't have the "snap" and really deep blacks of the single grade ones.

Scott, do you ever think of taking a shot today for comparison?? maybe its not too practical.

Since I now live 2700 miles from there, it is kind of impractical! And let's face it, from a majestic landscape perspective, FL TOTALLY SUCKS compared to WA!
