Took this on my way home from working all night at the local post office the other day.
It's the sun coming up over Everbank Field where the Jacksonville Jaguars play.
Maybe it's a good omen, as lately they haven't been very competative.

I saw this phenomenal sunrise just the other morning, looking across the desert towards the mountains near Santa Fe, NM. The presence of different kinds of clouds created a really dynamic scene with varying and intense colors. It was a 25 minute light show and definitely the best sunrise I've ever witnessed. :D

Edit: Okay I'm new to this forum - why do I have doubles of a picture as "attached thumbnails"..?

I got off work at 6AM and it was drizzeling pretty good. So I went down to the riverfront and waited to see what would pop-up.
The sun never did because of the growing storm clouds building up blocking it.To the left is the Maxwell House coffee roasting plant and to its right is the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.

Just thinking about it brings back memories of how good the aroma of the coffee plant was. The paper mill, on the other hand, not so much.

Does the lighted water fountain still operate in Jax?
