Impact Studio Slave Strobe & Flashpoint System

    Hi all,

Question regarding an Impact Studio Slave Strobe and triggering it wirelessly via the Flashpoint/Godox system. I was told by BH that I would be able to accomplish this, but the port on the receiver side of the flashpoint is a 2.5mm jack and after plugging in the 3.5mm side to the Strobe, Iím left with a male pc on the other end. Doh!

Any ideas or should I just follow up with BH?

    FWIW..

    Strobe: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...Product_Detail

Godox Receiver (I actually have flashpoint, but same thing): https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...mtDT0hHd0ItQVA.

    Thanks!

I'm not familiar with your trigger system, and so should keep quiet, but the flash should of course work as intended with its sync cable instead directly plugged into your D810 camera sync port. Or its built in optical trigger will also trigger from seeing any other manual flash.

Thanks for the reply. Yep - those methods work. I have two of these however, so was hoping for a cordless solution to triggering them which BH said would be possible with what I had. I may just shoot them a message tomorrow, theyíre always very helpful so whatever they say I will post up for others.
