Will probably be pulling the trigger on this system in a week...Will be shooting events soon and will need something lighter for run and gun shooting..
I love my Einstein and Mola...But this should be more practical and give me the power I need to over power the sun..Thoughts?..........Interfit Strobies Pro-Flash One Eighty Flash Kit STR200 B&H Of course I will be getting the trigger and receiver for an additional $68 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1026671-REG/interfit_str203_strobies_pro_flash_transmitter.html

if you have the money, then they look like nice flashes. overpower the sun, like backlit BG (u facing the sun) and u using it for fill in front of them? or doing backlight silouettes?

$600 for a manual only flash is a lot I think. how are the godox compared to these?

I guess overpowering the sun term gets used a lot..lol What I like about it is its simple, high guide number, diffussed reflector, small battery pack that could possibly last a whole event etc...Normally you would need TTL to do HSS if Im not mistaken. But with this you can do it even thou it is a manual flash...I have grown to love manual with my Einstein..Rocket Im not familiar with the other brand you mentioned.. (Less then $600 for flash and battery pack)

SR, if im not mistaken, I think they may be making the same flashes. take a look here and notice they looks quite similar.

GODOX PHOTO EQUIPMENT CO.,LTD

Godox is a known brand in the pro world. not a veteran company but building nice gear recently and really getting attention.

CHEETAH Light CL-180 ? Bare Bulb HSS Flash ? Review | FLASH HAVOC

they look quite chic. but for me, give me my simple SB28's SB800 and a battery pack attached and im good. I really could use the extra money for other things, but everyone has their own priority :)

I dont think light needs to be expensive to be durable and reliable and basically a workhorse. and if youre using it in weddings, consider that some time or another it will either get dinged, or a good chance it will fall. so IMO these off camera flashes have to be disposable. a $600 flash falling will need to be repaired. a $100 flash falling, toss it and order another.

if you truly need that much power (I never have) you can use a $7 dual flash bracket from ebay and run two of those together. my best bud, who really loves doing sunset backlit silouettes and he shoots at F22 and the 910 is more than enough. youre pretty locked on them so go for it. they look kick A**!

I hear you man...I will use it for Quinces, engagement shoots, parties, etc... I will be shooting as a second cameraman for weddings in the beginning until I learn the ropes...Then eventually do them on my own with an assistant...Baby steps...Im good at what Im doing right now, but for events Im staying humble until I get the experience...

Good flash that 560III. theyre fast to cycle, very strong, cheap, have the receiver built in, win win. if they ever fall (and break), get a new one. I love the springed battery door, the legible battery orientation sticker and you dont need to press a button to release the head for swivel. only thing I would love is if it had a wider angle than 24mm. but for $70 or so, I cant (shouldnt) complain

I am considering getting 3 Godox V850 but even at $120 (and $35 for slaves) I think there is no need today as ims till using SB28 every wedding and its a workhorse. fast and more than enough power. I like the battery pack it comes with and the very quick recycle. I might get them at the end of the year though when they drop a bit in price. was also told they would release a slave that competes with the 622n. btw, they are branded under the cheetah and neewer TT850 as well. battery is $20 and with charger, so figure the flash is about $85 and the other components the rest and its quite a nice price. I just have other things that are more priority. LENSES!! haha

also YONGNUO ? YN560-TX to YN-622C Compatibility Coming Next Week! | FLASH HAVOC

so later if you want to do studio only, you control the output on the fly with those transmitters. cheers!

if you have time and want another, I buy from this guy. $10 less than the link you posted.

http://thephotogadget.com/ im not affiliated. they also have an ebay page.

if you biught from yongnuo then just be aware delivery will take some time. same with the above guy. he will also note the customs page as a "gift" if you need it.

Bought my 603 from him, 568, 560III 622n. Im waiting for YN to release their 568 mark II flash already. if it will be done right, I think it will be the end of nikon speedlight high prices. these 3rd party flashes are eating hard into theur profits. almost every pro I know either uses all YN flash or at least all their off camera flash are 3rd party. nikon flashes are way overpriced, but build is better I have to admit. Sb800 fell from huge heights (3 times already) and keeps going. my 568 took a hit to the floor and pretty much disintegrated and needed repair. but it was done for free. just payed shipping to and from them.
