Post dissapeared

Last night I was trying to help Kevin H with a problem he was having with focusing with his D7100. I get up this morning to see what is going on with the thread and it is like it never existed, what is going on????

Name of thread was "frustrated to the brink of smashing camera" I have all the notification emails but when I click on them now it says Invalid thread specified.

It does not show up on my latest post list or Kevin's either. it just vanished!

I was reading this same thread this morning, I read the first page OK, but when I clicked on the 2nd page to open it, it wouldn't open, I went back out to try and open the thread again and it had vanished.

I deleted it I was getting more frustrated reading different replys so figure I'll just try a few things myself thanks for the help Jeff your comments did help

Yes it helped I also figured I didn't learn the D5100 in 2 days

Sorry you felt the need to delete it. Sometimes your frustration is one that has been and will be shared by others in the future, so feel free to leave stuff like that hanging around for others to see down the road. It helps them, and saves us from having to retype answers.

Kevin, I hadn't given up yet on finding an answer. This is just a shot in the dark but could you try placing this camera and a lens on a tripod and set the camera to the GREEN AUTO mode and see if it makes a difference. If you want us to quit making suggestions that is fine also. All of us learn when we get a problem solved.

Someone likely brought it back from the dead. I'd pinged a moderator about it last night when I received a notification on a post quote but couldn't access the post directly. Generally, moderators in forums like this can see deleted threads (nothing truly goes away) and tried pointing me at it as well. Glad someone brought it back - useful info is useful info.
