Slow

Just at the moment it keeps changing from ok to very slow.

Same here, I even have moments the site does not respond. It's often around this hour.

The server might be doing stuff at this hour.

I don't know where the server is situated but it's possible it's around midnight there so there might be back-up routines that jump into action.

Somewhere, in a thread, Jdeg mentioned the sidebar info only updates every X minutes. Seems like it may have been 30 minutes on something.

I did have a problem getting onto the website yesterday about 6.30pm (uk time). the page would not load.

all working fine now.

That is correct.

Also if you ping nikonites.com and get a slow response that is more important then static.nikonites.com . One is the main server the other is a file server.
