My First Blog

Well here I go with my first Blog , my wife said " why do you want to do that ? " ... Well I want to document my journey with my Nikon , and will post a Blog entry and photo once a week , well this week has been busy and tonight the girls ( my wife and youngest daughter ) and myself are going to see P!nk in Adelaide ( South Australia ) it should be quite a night . well my first photo was taken last week end in The Ring of Oaks in Gumeracha ( South Australia )Salem Baptist Church was built in 1846 and is the oldest Baptist church still in use in South Australia. Baptism for this denomination involves total immersion of the body and at Salem Church they achieved this across the road, where a permanent pool of clear water was fed by a spring. but an earthquake about 100 years ago closed it and they planted 12 oak trees around the spring, all photos are in South Australia unless stated otherwise ! I also welcome comments and critique , so here we go.................

Good to meet another Adelaidean ! Lovely colours and light. I really must get out to Gumeracha myself with the Nikon. Having just taken about 1000 photos overseas though, we're busy saving the pennies

Ok well I have been busy and stuff but I am back ! This is the sunset through the trees !

I went to a forest with my daughter the other day , it was cold and miserable here are three takes on the same photo , first is the original 2nd is a Niks Silver EFX edit and last is a lightroom edit
